THROUGHOUT THE MONTH OF OCTOBER, WE WILL GIVE 5% OF OUR SALES TO LE GRAND CHEMIN

LE GRAND CHEMIN FOUNDATION

Founded in 1989, Le Grand Chemin hosts teenagers struggling with addiction or cyberaddiction. Its centres are located in Montréal, Québec, and Saint-Célestin (Centre-du-Québec). The services provided to these teenagers and their family are free. In 2014, Le Grand Chemin was the first organization in Canada with accommodation centres to treat cyberaddiction. It is still the only organization in Québec to provide such services. Le Grand Chemin is known for its innovation. That is why it offers the teenagers an outdoor and adventure therapy, which is an intervention method to treat drug addiction that is unique in Québec. The teenagers can also enrich their life and the lives of the elderly with the intergenerational project, which includes animal-assisted therapy, art therapy, and even more.

Each year, Le Grand Chemin helps 12 to 17-year-old teenagers and their family to regain control over their life. Supporting this organization means preventing the risks associated with addictions, such as dropping out of school, mental illness, violence, and suicide. OcSobre is the main fundraising campaign of Le Grand Chemin. All the donations made during the challenge will go to the three Le Grand Chemin centres. OCSOBER

Launched in 2015, OcSober is the main fundraising campaign of the Le Grand Chemin centres. Since the first edition, more than $800,000 has been raised to ensure that the services are free of charge for the teenagers who are staying at one of the three Le Grand Chemin centres—located in Montréal, Québec, and Saint-Célestin (Centre-du-Québec)—aged 12 to 17 and living with addiction or cyberaddiction. OcSober is an initiative that aims to raise awareness about physical, mental, and digital health among its participants. Just like our teenagers who commit to a therapy to overcome their addiction, OcSober offers to adopt a healthier and more balanced lifestyle during October. This exercise allows the participants to be more aware of their bad habits, of the effects that their harmful behaviours can have, but most of all, of the benefits of sobriety and balance.

5% OF OUR SALES GIVEN TO LE GRAND CHEMIN DURING THE MONTH OF OCTOBER

Engaging in our community is a priority at Apexways. We want to make a difference in the lives of the teens in Le Grand Chemin and help them climb to the top and persevere in their journey, no matter what path they take to get there. We are proud to give back 5% of our earnings at each purchase to the Foundation throughout the month of October, in addition to investing ourselves in supporting a cause that is important to us. Thus, each item sold will help ensure that the services offered to teenagers aged 12 to 17 dependent and cyber-dependent at Le Grand Chemin centers are free. If you want to give personally to the foundation, head over to Le Grand Chemin website.
